Barbra Streisand – Send in the Clowns – 2000

From the Dame Judi version to a singer who might be a bit more well known for her singing although apparently she’s also acted in one or two movies herself and so among other titles the lady Streisand has no problem slipping in actress in there. In fact the lady Streisand must be really gutted not to be British because her success undoubtedly would have had her recognised highly by the realm. All she can ever look to are her trophy room of awards. Ho hum.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not a huge fan of Barbra’s at all – I mean the spelling of the name is an issue in itself – but there can be no denying of the impact she’s made. What’s odd here though is that more people have viewed the rendition of this song by someone called Ruthie Henshall than even this version! How bizarre is that? Oh the wonderful world of YouTube. In any case – enjoy.
