I sent a tweet recently whilst listening to this track wondering if Bruce Willis got so sick of the programme Moonlighting that he had a death wish on Al Jarreau! Not because the programme was particularly poor, just because after doing it for the time he did and with the ‘interesting’ casting issues he had to deal with, maybe it got to the stage that once Al’s dulcet tones chime in, he’s about ready to get all Chuck Norris on the brother and give a roundhouse kick to the next fella who mentioned the programme.
Anyway.
This does not detract from Al putting in a sterling effort with this track which has got to be the epitome of the 80′s version of smooth. Enjoy.
